Saturview Top 25
Rankings as of November 7, 2026
Our own ranking, not the AP poll. Ranked by Newton’s team rating, from this season’s games only: how many points a team would be expected to beat an average FBS team by on a neutral field. When two teams are within 1.5 points and one beat the other, the winner is listed first. Use the arrow beside a team to see what put it there.

Meet Newton, the model behind the picks
Newton is Saturview’s forecasting model. It rates every FBS team from this season’s games, picks winners before kickoff and writes about them in the first person. Every pick locks at kickoff, so the record below is the one it earned.

Rate every team
Each game this season counts: points scored and allowed, yardage and the opponent. A team Saturview cannot rate yet shows as Not rated.
Rank them
A rating is how many points a team would be expected to beat an average FBS team by on a neutral field. A team rated 20 is about 20 points better.
Pick the games
Newton forecasts each game on its own, with home field, rest and travel. That is why the higher-rated team is not always the favorite.
Roster talent, a rating of the recruited talent on each roster, is part of where every team starts and counts less as this season’s games come in. Injuries and weather belong to a single game, so they never move a rating; a confirmed starting quarterback absence changes only that game’s pick. Understand the rankings

Questions people ask
Which teams does Saturview cover?
Every FBS team has a page with its record, schedule, leaders and next game, and its conference standings if it plays in a conference. FCS opponents show up on schedules and count in the ratings of the teams that played them, but they do not get pages of their own.
What does Free include, and what does Premium add?
Free covers what has happened and what is happening: rankings, team pages, players, coaches, live scores and Newton’s public record. Premium adds the model’s view of what comes next: Newton’s upcoming picks, matchup forecasts, season forecasts and the Sims lab. Compare plans
How often do the numbers change?
We update after new game stats are published. Check the time at the bottom of the app to see when it last changed.
What makes a player ranking useful?
See how a player stacks up at their position, then open their profile for career numbers and recent games.
Are playoff projections official?
No. They show how the season could unfold. The playoff committee makes the official selections.
Can I ask my own questions?
Yes. A free account can ask Newton 20 questions a day about teams, players or games, and Premium has a larger, usage-based allowance. It can be busy or unavailable at times. A free account also includes rankings, team pages, players, coaches, All-America, live scores and Newton’s public record.
Are Newton’s picks betting advice?
No. Saturview is built for fans. Picks, forecasts and ratings are model estimates, never guarantees, and they are not betting, financial or gambling advice.
